Jewellery Repairs

At Onyx we believe the most precious value is sentimental value.

We repair jewellery to its former glory on a daily basis. Engagement rings worn out by years of wear can be carefully restored, customers often comment β€˜It’s better than new, is that really my ring?’

    Before & After:

The Process:

Firstly we need to see your jewellery to make an assessment, which in most cases is done there and then. Once this is done we will be able to give you a price and time frame in which the repair can be completed.

On the occasion you can not come into the store please contact us to arrange an alternative method in which we can asses your jewellery. This can either be you sending your jewellery via post, emailing us images of your repair or even a video call.

The usual time frame in which a repair is completed is 4-8 days*, however if you require a repair sooner than this please contact us and we can offer an express service. Also taken into consideration is the complexity of the job, which may result in a longer time frame.

*Please allow longer than usual due to COVID-19, each repair is assessed and given an individual timeframe.

A lady had a missing diamond from her engagement ring and instead of simply replacing the diamond with a new one; she wanted to utilize a diamond, of different size and shape, from her mother’s engagement ring.

Rather than saying no like all other jewellers, we rose to the challenge. We took into consideration the lady’s personality and lifestyle and came up with a unique idea that was tailored to her.

The customer could easily visualize what the end repair would look like as we provided computerised images and explained each step to her carefully.

She was over the moon with the finished ring.
